Shashonna Knecht

La Petite Tattoo founder

Shashonna has been tattooing since 2010. After many years working for local tattoo shops as well as teaching and mentoring tattoo students, she decided to make the leap and open her own tattoo studio: La Petite Tattoo. Recognizing the importance of not only giving a great tattoo, but also a great client experience she works tirelessly to keep La Petite Tattoo accommodating and up to date. Shashonna specializes in Illustrative, Neo Traditional, and Botanical styles - though welcomes any other style a client may want to explore. She has vast experience with coverups and tattoo reworks, and loves to work with clients to bring new life to old tattoos.

Sky Rocket

Resident Artist

Sky has had a passion for art since she could hold a crayon. As a native Portlander, Sky began her arts education at the Pacific Northwest College of Art, and then completed her degree at Antioch University. She completed her training in tattoo arts in the summer of 2019. Stylistically, Sky enjoys illustrative-style tattoos with a focus on plants and animals, as well as tattoo portraiture and pop-culture references. Sky is excited to continue to grow her portfolio while working with clients to create a piece of art they are proud to wear.

Donna Gomez

Resident Artist

Donna is a self-taught, lifelong artist who dreamed of moving to the Pacific Northwest and becoming a professional tattooer for almost a decade. Growing up in Southern California, she swapped desert hills for the cloudy skies of Portland and began tattooing a few years later in the fall of 2021.

Donna enjoys tattooing her own brand of vintage-inspired traditional and is drawn to any and everything kitschy, funky, spooky, and whimsical. She is eager to grow her portfolio and connect with clients, encouraging them to love and celebrate their bodies through art.

Michelle Pomerantz

Resident Artist

Michelle is a Northern California native and lifelong artist that earned their fine art degree in 2010, and began tattooing in 2019. Michelle specializes in full color Illustrative and Neo Traditional tattoo styles, and her art is inspired by nature, the cosmos, folk art and folklore.

Michelle believes tattoos are for all bodies and skin tones, and aims to create a comfortable environment where tattoos can be a means of self adornment and healing.

Lizzy Dalton

Resident Artist

Lizzy Dalton has been working as a professional fine artist since 2015, and in 2021 she decided to fulfill a longtime dream by learning to tattoo. Her art has always focused on her love of nature and the great outdoors, and she is excited to be able to translate her distinctive illustrative style into the medium of tattooing. When she's not making art or tattoos, Lizzy loves outdoor activities such as rock climbing and hiking. She is most known for her signature mountain designs, but she also enjoys tattooing florals, animals, ornamental and abstract designs, and natural subjects of all kinds.
